RE: Upcoming Trips – Need Response!!!
Hi Everyone:
This is just a reminder for some upcoming trips we have scheduled and I need your cooperation in letting us know whether you will be attending these events. So, here’s the run down:
Barnacle Phil’s – Sunday, July 27th – lunch is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Separate checks will be given. Please advise us no later than Monday, July 14th , if you are planning on attending this event so we can give the restaurant a headcount. Also, I can then distribute a list of those going and perhaps some of you can caravan via boat.
Nav-A-Gator Grill – Saturday, August 9th – lunch is scheduled for noon. Even though tide will be high, we do not recommend any boat larger than 30 feet, so for the big boats….this would be a great trip to caravan with your friends. Please advise us no later than July 18th, if you plan on attending this event, as we need to give a headcount to the restaurant.
Bar-B-Que/Picnic at Don Pedro State Park – Saturday, August 30th – at this time, no response is necessary; however, after our last picnic at this park and beautiful weather, you sure don’t want to miss this, as we are sure it will be a repeat performance!!
Weekend At Hyatt, Sarasota, Florida – Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st (941) 953-1234 – this weekend will begin with an evening of music at the Van Wenzel (Friday Fest). Saturday rest and relaxation poolside during the day and have an evening of cocktails and h’ordeuvres at 4:30 p.m. dockside or go out for dinner. Sunday – we depart. Please note that I know some people have talked about driving instead of boating. Be that the case, I need to know the following: first, if you are going to be attending this event; and secondly, if you plan on driving or coming via boat. Boat slips can be reserved 60 days in advance (the sooner the better) so, we would need to know the above information no later than July 18th, especially if you need a boat slip. Rooms are available and rates vary depending upon your needs. They run between $179.00 per night for a standard room with 2 double beds and a king bed upon request; and $229.00 for a deluxe room with balcony and king bed or 2 doubles.

* “Club activities are planned well in advance, based upon available local knowledge and cannot take into account weather, sea state, conditions at the proposed destination, or other factors that may affect the actual cruise. You, as Captain of your boat, must make the final decisions as to conditions that affect your vessel. You must also evaluate your boat's capabilities, your own skills and your experience to make the final decision as to whether to go or cancel a trip, safe boat speed, route and the multitude of other operating decisions that are necessary in boating”
